- Every Wednesday in December Brighton Resort offers $20 lift tickets with a donation - either to the Utah Food Bank, Road Home Shelter, Toys for Tots (check their web site for details.)
- Snowbird sells 2-pack lift tickets for half price at BYU's ticket office starting mid-October until sold out. Good for one person, non-transferrable, black-out dates Dec. 26-Jan. 2 and Feb. 18 - Feb. 21.
- Sinclair gas stations give out 2-for-1 Snowbird discount coupons in November/December. Buy 4 tanks of gas and get a 2-for-1 lift ticket coupon.
- The Costco in Salt Lake City at 300 West 2100 South carries discounted lift tickets in the winter.
- Liftopia.com has discount lift tickets for many Utah resorts.
- Several ski shops in Salt Lake City sell discount ski lift tickets, including Ski-N-See (several locations), REI , the Sports Den at Foothill and Canyon Sports (details and prices here).
- Backcountry.com sells discounted lift tickets to Utah ski resorts - and proceeds benefit our wildly popular Utah Avalanche Center.
- Kids under 10 ski free at Brighton Resort with a paying adult.
- Good for the month of January only, Deer Valley sells discount tickets at local retail shops (see #3 above) for only $74.
- Bring your same-day boarding pass to any of Park City's three resorts (The Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort) and receive a FREE lift ticket for that day. Offered through the Park City Quick START Vacation - you'll need to bring a redemption voucher along with your boarding pass and out-of-state photo ID. Some black-out dates. Details here.
- This is my favorite: Monday - Thursday from 3pm - 4:30pm EVERYBODY skis free on Alta's Sunnyside lift! I met one man who has been taking advantage of this free deal for years and averages 9 runs a day.
- If you have a toddler or first-time skier, Deer Valley has a fenced-in area with a "magic carpet" (like a moving sidewalk). And it's totally FREE 7 days a week. The video below gives you an idea of what it's like.
